THUMBPRINT COOKIES

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil or butter

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp lemon

  • Filing of choice: Nutella, jam, chocolate chips, peanut butter 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Combine all ingredients except for filling

  3. Form tablespoon size balls and push into the center to create an indent

  4. Repeat with remaining dough

  5. Add filling of choice to the indent of the cookies

  6. Bake for 10-14 minutes

  7. Leet cool for 10 minutes
