STICKY BBQ MIAMI RIBS

Ingredients:

  • 16-20 Miami ribs (different than short ribs - this served 10-12 ppl - cut recipe in half if using 8-10 ribs)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup tamari

  • Juice of 4 oranges (about 1/2 cup)

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger

  • 3-4 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 tsp cornstarch

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients for marinade (except cornstarch) and marinade Miami ribs for at least 1 hr.

  2. Heat bbq over medium high - cook Miami ribs for 3-4 mins a side. Heat marinade in a saucepan over medium high heat.

  3. Mix cornstarch with a tbsp of water and whisk into sauce.

  4. Bring sauce to a simmer for 5-10 mins until thickened (you can add a bit more orange juice and zest ti make flavour stronger).

  5. Pour over ribs and enjoy!
