STICKY BBQ MIAMI RIBS
Ingredients:
16-20 Miami ribs (different than short ribs - this served 10-12 ppl - cut recipe in half if using 8-10 ribs)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup tamari
Juice of 4 oranges (about 1/2 cup)
1 tbsp grated ginger
3-4 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp cornstarch
Directions
Mix all ingredients for marinade (except cornstarch) and marinade Miami ribs for at least 1 hr.
Heat bbq over medium high - cook Miami ribs for 3-4 mins a side. Heat marinade in a saucepan over medium high heat.
Mix cornstarch with a tbsp of water and whisk into sauce.
Bring sauce to a simmer for 5-10 mins until thickened (you can add a bit more orange juice and zest ti make flavour stronger).
Pour over ribs and enjoy!
