DAIRY FREE!

Ingredients:

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup tamari

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder mixed with 2 tbsp of water (this will thicken the sauce)

  • 1 pound salmon (skin off and cubed)

  • Sheets of rice paper (if they are big cut into smaller sizes - will fry better)

  • Grape seed oil

  • Toppings: avocado, shredded cabbage, hot peppers, sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan (except for the cornstarch mixture) over medium-high heat.

  2. Bring to a boil and then add cornstarch/water.

  3. Simmer for 4-5 mins until the sauce has thickened.

  4. In a nonstick with a bit of oil, add your cubed salmon and cook for a few mins.

  5. Add half of the sauce and cook until the salmon has become caramelized. You could honestly stop here - this salmon is so good!!!

  6. Heat grape seed oil over high heat - once oil is hot drop in your rice paper one at a time. They will crisp up immediately.

  7. Place on a paper towel to drain. Great as a gluten-free snack on its own.

    Build your tacos and enjoy!
