STEAK WITH CHIMICHURRI BOARD SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 new york strips

  • 1 cup finely chopped flat leaf parsley

  • 2-3 cloves minced garlic

  • juice of 1/2 lemon 

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 1 small shallot diced

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 

  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients for sauce and let sit (can prep overnight).

  2. Remove steak from fridge 30 mins before cooking and season with kosher salt. 

  3. Heat grill pan over medium high heat and grill steaks 2-3 mins, rotate and cook another 2-3 mins. 

  4. Pour half of sauce on a wooden board and place steak over top - let rest 5-10 mins and then thinly slice steak.

  5. Top with more sauce
