MAPLE TAMARI SALMON
Ingredients:
2 x filets rainbow trout (or Arctic char) - make sure it’s thin (not a thick salmon filet which would take longer to cook)
2-3 x tbsp Tamari
2 tbsp x maple syrup
1 tsp x sesame oil
Adults - top with some black sesame seeds, green onion and sriracha
Kids - add more tamari/ soy sauce
Directions
Combine all ingredients and marinate fish overnight (or at least 1-2 hours).
Set oven to broil - cook fish on top rack for 5 mins.
Coconut Rice - kids love this
Ingredients:
2 x cups jasmine rice (or rice of choice)
1 x can full fat coconut milk (you can use low fat but won’t be as good - I’ve tried!) 1.5 cups water
Bring all ingredients to boil/ simmer 15-20 mins and serve! (Maybe need to tweak time depending on type of rice you use)
