GF MATZAH CRACK

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 pieces gf matzah
    2 sticks butter
    1 cup brown or coconut sugar
    2 cups dark/ semi sweet or white chocolate chips

    Toppings:
    💫Pecans (toast first at 350F for 8-10 mins) / maldon salt
    💫Mini Marshmallows / GF graham crackers crushed
    💫Sprinkles/ pop rocks (reco strawberry flavour!)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Cover a baking tray with foil and then parchment - lay matzah on top.

  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sugar. Whisk until it comes to a boil and then stir an additional few mins until it thickens.

  4. Working quickly use a spatula to spread on matzah - cover completely)
    Bake in oven 8-10 mins until bubbly.

  5. Remove from oven and immediately put choc chips on top. Wait 2-3 mins until they start to melt and then use a spatula to spread. Cover with toppings!

  6. Refrigerate 45-60 mins then break into big pieces with your hands.
    Store in fridge.

    *for SMORES - broil marshmallows on top for 15-20 secs after it’s on matzah (burns easily - keep an eye!)
    *white choc doesn’t spread as easily and you may need extra to cover caramel
